Solar Eclipse Awareness Party (August 19 @ 1:00 PM)

Visit the Museum to learn tips on watching the Solar Eclipse!

This eclipse is a historical event that will take place on Monday, August  21, 2017 at 1:00 PM.

This Heritage School event will be educational as well as fun!  A 15 minute video "The Night Sky" will be presented which will provide safety tips on viewing the eclipse.

There will also be a little bit of "Moonwalking"! Heather Kirkland with Salt & Light Dance Studio in Sweetwater will teach the moonwalk dance and host a dance contest.

Refreshments will be served; as well as door prizes.

Protective eclipse glasses are included in the $5 program fee and will be distributed on a first come-first served basis. 

Remaining glasses will be available for sale to the public after the program.

This program is free to Museum members; $5 non-members (includes glasses & a tour of the Museum).
